| BCS Certificate in IT |
Introduction:This is the foundation level of Higher
Education Qualifications. This level is the academic
equivalent to year 1 of a UK University honours degree and
is recognised by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority
(QCA) as Level 4.
Programme Structure: There are four semesters in this
programme. Students need to pass all the units for the
successful completion of this programme.

Fee: (Without assessment/examinations)
International Students: £4000
Local Students: £3000
Assessment: Examinations which are externally
assessed and moderated by the BCS (UK)
Main Intakes: Jan, April, June & September
Scholarship: £500: Available for brilliant students
with marks 70% or above, varies course to course
Entry Requirements:
English language competence: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
- Completion 'A-Level' or equivalent
- A qualification which is equivalent to Level 3.
Progression: Successful completion of the Certificate
(3 core modules) enables you to apply for Level 5
qualifications or second year of BSc (Hons) degree. This
qualification also makes you eligible to apply for BCS
Associate Membership (AMBCS).
